The Instituto de Enseñanza Secundaria “Marcos Zaragoza” de Villajoyosa launched the project “Chocolate para tod@s”, which also included the provision of a number of scholarships for students on March 2015 in Belgium.
It is a group of 40 school teachers who worked with students on the theme “Chocolate” in various subjects (Maths, History, Religion, Biology, Electricity, Computer, …).
The students, that participated at the Congress held in Alicante on November 7th 2014, “Changing of European habits with the introduction of colonial products since the time of Charles V. An example: Chocolate” organized by The Chocolate Way with the TDC, member of the Association, were hosted by the Belgian partners of The Chocolate Way, in particular by Choco Story Bruxelles and Choco Story Bruges, from March the 27th to 31st 2015.
The group was composed of 16 students aged between 15-17 years and two teachers. The students participated actively discussing the details of the trip in a sort of “Travel Diary” with pictures and videos, that was published on the Facebook page and the other social media of The Chocolate Way.
In June 2016 the group of students published an exhibition summarizing the work of a school year in economic, tourist, historical, artistic world of cacao and chocolate which was unveiled for the press with the Consejo Regulador I.G.P. de Jijona Y Turron Alicante. The work has involved four teachers and selected students from 4 classes.
