Turron Museum celebrated with free admission, tasting products and gifts “The International Museum Day”
Turron Museum held with free admission, tasting products and gifts the International Museum Day which takes place on Wednesday 18 May.
Turron Museum and commemorates this anniversary with the aim of disseminating the historia of the Turron Industry and publicize manufacturing processes turron and marzipan, promotion and distribution as well as its protagonists throughout its history.
On the occasion of International Museum Day, the Museum of Turron offer a wide free tasting of products among which traditional Jijona and Alicante Turron, and other traditional Christmas sweets and chocolates.
In addition, visitors will benefit from a 50% discount on all the literature of the Museum of Turron and Merchandising, and receive a gift a turron cutter by buying products in the museum shop.
Museum Jijona Turron is integrated into the Network of Industrial Tourism of the Province of Alicante and has been recognized by the Valencian Community as an official museum.

“Appetizing with Turron by Jijona”
Turron Museum a Route edition adds “Appetizing with turron by Jijona” giving the award for Best Presentation and opening its doors to complete this gastronomic route that ends on May 29.
Its facilities include “tapaportes – check guides” to punctuate the caps and allow complete this gastronomic route knowing about the history and evolution of one of the oldest sweets in the world. Thus, its three plants provide an insight into this sector long tradition to explore their raw materials, production processes and marketing throughout its history.
